The Auth0 tenant represents a collection of user and application configurations to facilitate single sign-on (SSO) within the NGen environment.

There are two Tenants, you may have access to one, the other, or both.

bluetent-test

The staging environment. Most of the current NGen users are within this environment.

bluetent

The production environment. Users here have access to the production Hub & related authentication paths.

Create a new user for WordPress & Hub Admin


Login at: https://manage.auth0.com/dashboard/us/test-bluetent/users using your tenant user (different from your WordPress and Hub admin user.)

Once authenticated, navigate to “User Management” and then “Users”.

Select “+ Create User”:

Configure the user’s e-mail (they will receive password reset links here and use this as their username) and generate a password for the user (I use https://www.dinopass.com/ because it’s simple and brightens my day because it’s a dinosaur.)

Verify the user’s e-mail


If you don’t do this the user will get prompted to verify their e-mail. Users with unverified e-mails cannot sign - in to WordPress sites.

Manually verifying the new user’s e-mail is easy, if you know it is correct:

Assign Roles


For implementation or support specialists/engineers it is important to assign superuser to their set of roles:

Client users will have other roles like Organization Admin, etc.
