Once everything is setup in Campaign Monitor, there are also steps that need to be done on the clients' website.

Setup For RezFusion Pro Sites

  1. All new websites Nov 2020 and forward should have the Booking Abandonment Module on the site, you’ll just need to turn it on. If the client has an older website, a Case will need to be sent to Support. For more information on this case -

    Once confirmed that the Booking Abandonment Module is on the site, continue to Step 2.

  2. Make sure you are logged into the client’s website and head to
    Configuration → Web Services → Campaign Monitor

     

  3. Expand the Account Details box.

     

  4. Add the Client API and Client ID.

     

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the blue Save Configuration button.

  6. Once everything saves, you will be back at the top of the page. Select the Lists tab.

     

  7. Find your Reservations - Booking Abandonment list and click Edit in the right-hand column.

     

  8. Some of these options should already be filled out when getting the case back from support including:

    1. Enable List - Enable box should be checked

    2. List Options - List name should be filled in. Do not need to worry about Unusbscribe page, Confirmation success page, or Confirmed Opt In checkbox.

       

  9. Display options section -Check the Display Name Field

     

  10. Custom Fields section - Select all options that apply to the Booking Abandonment Tool

     

  11. Field tokens should also be set be the support team. The only option that should be filled in is the Name field.

     

  12. Scroll to the bottom of the page and press the Save configuration button.

  13. Now that you have set up the list configuration, you will need to set up the popup on the site. Head to:
    Configuration → System → Cart Abandonment Settings

     

  14. Check the Enable Cart Abandonment Workflow checkbox

    NOTE: as soon as you check this box, this tool is live on the site.
    If you don’t want it to be on right away, continue with the setup, save, and then UNcheck this box after testing. All of your information will be saved.

     

  15. When you check the box, the Campaign Monitor Settings box should appear. Go through hand fill in the following fields.

    1. Campaign Monitor List Name *Exactly as it shows in Campaign Monitor.

    2. Abandonment Date - BAAbandonmentDate *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    3. Arrival Field Name - BAArrivalDate *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    4. Departure Field Name - BADepartureDate *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    5. Property ID Field Name - BAPropertyID *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    6. 'Property Available' Field Name - BAPropertyAvailable *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    7. 'Property Name' Field Name - BAPropertyName *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    8. 'Property Image' Field Name - BAPropertyImage *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    9. 'Property URL' Field Name - BAPropertyURL *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

    10. 'Booking Completed' Field Name - BABookingCompleted *Campaign Monitor Custom Field - NO SPACES

       

  16. Dialog & Site Settings Box

    1. Modal Library - Foundation Reveal radio button

    2. Date Format - d-m-Y

    3. Text of Submit Button - Continue or some similar language

    4. Text of Cancel Button - No thanks, complete reservation as guest or some similar language

    5. Modal Title - START RESERVATION: or some similar language

    6. Use default URL fetching method - Check this box

  17. Select the blue Save configuration button at the bottom of the page.

Setup For Cloud Sites

  1. First you will need to turn on the Booking Abandonment module -

    1. Make sure you’re logged into dashboard part of the website and head to Modules in the main nav

       

    2. Scroll down (or ctr+find) the BTM Cart Abandonment settings. Change the setting from the red OFF to the green ON

       

    3. Scroll down and select the blue Save Configuration button at the bottom of the page.

  2. Then you need to turn on the Campaign Monitor module -

    1. You will be directed to a “Some required modules must be enabled” page. Select the blue Continue button.

       

  3. Now that the Booking Abandonment module is installed, you will need to continue the setup by going
    Configuration → Web Services → Campaign Monitor

     

  4. Expand the blue Account details option

     

  5. Add the Campaign Monitor API Key and Client ID.

     

  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the blue Save configuration button

  7. Once you save, you will be directed to your Campaign monitor - General page. Next to General, select the Lists tab.
    (OR Configuration → Web services → Campaign Monitor → Lists)

     

  8. Find your Reservations - Booking Abandonment list and click Edit in the right-hand column.

     

  9. Some of these options should already be filled out when getting the case back from support including:
