New Booking and Booking Failure Notifications in Boost!

All Rezfusion Boost customers will now receive real-time Booking.com reservation notifications right to your inbox.

With the release of this new feature, Booking.com reservation notifications will be sent immediately following any reservation that takes place on a Boost connected property. These emails are delivered to the email address associated with the Boost user account. In cases where a booking failure was detected a specific message is sent to raise awareness of the booking as well as directions for rectifying the reservation in cases where it may need to be adjusted or re-accommodated. Failure notifications are not Booking.com specific and will also be sent in the event of issues stemming from Airbnb reservation failures.

No action is required to receive these notifications: all Boost customers will begin receiving them automatically.

Why the update?

While Airbnb sends a notification for every reservation that takes place, Booking.com does not provide any email notification at the time of booking. This can lead to situations where property managers may not have been aware a reservation had been made until the guest arrived!

We intend to provide additional tools in Boost so that you can directly manage your notification preferences. This will include the ability to copy additional recipients and opt-out of certain notification types. This work is still in progress but due to the importance of timely failure notifications, we’ve opted to release the main feature immediately. We welcome any suggestions you and your team have to continue to make Boost the best distribution solution in the industry.
