Boost New Features – February 2026

New Booking.com Tax Controls

(Coming late February)

Booking.com now supports dated rules for taxes and fees.

Starting in late February, Boost will support period rules for Booking.com taxes and fees. You’ll be able to set different tax rates for different date ranges.

For example, you could set a tax to be 10% for 2025 and 11% for 2026. This is especially helpful in regions like Hawaii, where reservations with check‑in dates up to December 31, 2025 had one tax rate and reservations from January 1, 2026 onward have a different rate.

If you’re connected to Booking.com in Boost V2 (the Boost New user interface), Boost will handle these updates automatically – no configuration changes are required. Previously, these types of changes could only be made by contacting Booking.com directly.

🔄 Escapia Amenity Auto-Mapping

Less setup. Faster onboarding.

In collaboration with our Escapia partners, we’ve identified a core set of supported amenities and property types will soon be mapped automatically in Boost.

Benefits

  • Less manual mapping during onboarding

  • Faster setup and go-live

  • Automatic updates when supported amenities change in Escapia

Manual mapping is still recommended for custom amenities or edge cases.

Booking.com Amenity Check

The Boost Product team conducted an audit and found several commonly expected amenities missing from many Booking.com-connected properties.

  • Please review and add these if applicable:

    • Toilet paper

    • Towels

    • Desk

    • Pillows - Note: Booking.com offers these options:

      • Non Feather Pillow

      • Hypoallergenic Pillow

      • Feather Pillow

    • Body soap

    • Fire extinguisher

    • Smoke alarm

    • Carbon monoxide detector

  • If all properties have these, add them at the channel-level settings.

  • If only some do, create a custom amenity in your PMS, assign it to applicable properties, and map it to Booking.com.

  • To review a property’s amenities: Open the property in BoostV2 and expand the Amenities section.
