Boost New Features - July 2026
Vrbo Reminder: Use Flexible Cancellation Policies to Increase Bookings
Expedia Group recently reported that Vrbo properties moving to more flexible cancellation policies—such as Relaxed or Moderate—see up to 30% more bookings per year.
Consider reviewing your current cancellation settings and choosing a less strict policy where it makes sense for your business.

Where to update cancellation policies in Boost:
Update all listings from Channel Settings: Use the Airbnb Channel Settings page to change the default policy for all listings. Note: this will not override listing-level edits.
Update specific listings: Change an individual listing, or apply updates to a group of listings using Bulk Edit. See Editing Listings in Boost.
Airbnb Cancellation Policy Changes
Airbnb is changing how Super Strict cancellation policies work for shorter stays.
June 15, 2026: Super Strict 30 Days and Super Strict 60 Days will no longer be available to select for any new or existing listing.
September 15, 2026: Listings already using a Super Strict policy may continue to use it until this date.
After September 15, 2026: Most listings still using a Super Strict policy will automatically move to the Firm policy.
Strict policy availability for Luxe properties
Boost will add Airbnb’s Strict policy back to the UI for Luxe properties only. Airbnb deprecated this policy last year, and it will not be available for non-Luxe properties.
All other properties must choose one of the following Airbnb cancellation policies:
Flexible
Moderate
Firm
Limited

Booking.com Promotions: New Property Deal
You can now enable Booking.com’s New Property Deal for eligible listings in Boost. This promotion gives new or newly listed properties a temporary 20% launch discount to help attract early bookings, reviews, and review scores.

New: Expanded Booking.com Amenities
Boost now includes a dedicated Amenities page for Booking.com connections, bringing amenity mapping, bulk updates, and required amenity details into one place.
Add details like parking type and space count, pool hours, hot tub access, restaurant facilities, and other Booking.com-required metadata. Required fields are marked to help prevent sync issues.
Boost will still auto-map many PMS amenities, with options to manually map, apply amenities across all listings, or add listing-specific details as needed.
These details help set clearer guest expectations and may improve Booking.com listing quality.

Review and Messaging Functionality Coming to Boost for Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com (Release date pending)
Later this summer, Boost will bring guest messaging and review management into one place. Your team will be able to manage guest communications more efficiently, respond faster, improve review engagement, and spend less time navigating between OTA platforms.
Airbnb Messaging – Action Required for Some Users
To prepare for Airbnb messaging in Boost, some users must reauthorize their Boost-Airbnb connection because their account didn't originally grant Boost read/write access to messages.
Recently connected Airbnb via Boost? You're already authorized—no action needed.
See "Authenticate with Airbnb for messaging" on your Airbnb card? Please complete the steps below.
How to Authorize
Select Authenticate with Airbnb for messaging on your Airbnb card.
In the new tab, confirm authorization to allow Bluetent to connect to your Airbnb account.
You're done! You'll be ready to manage Airbnb messages in Boost as soon as the feature launches.
