Adding Page Builder Elements

When creating a new blog, activity or event, the page builder elements are shown at the bottom. These work the same as when creating a new page. The descriptions of the different elements and how to use each one can be found here: https://bluetent.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RUKB/pages/669614283

Adding content in the body section

What do we mean by images to the body section?

Blogs, events and activities all allow you to add images in two ways. One, as a featured image, or the first image you see when looking at a blog post for example. You can only have one featured image. The other way to add an image to your blog, event or activity content is in the body. The body is where you write the content and you can add as many images as you like in the body. This guide will help you add images so your content can look the best.

Image size and file format and name

Make sure your images are at least 840 pixels wide and JPEG format. Also make sure your image file names are descriptive and accurate. For example, if the photo is of dogs on the beach, make sure the file name is something like dogs_on_the_beach.jpg. Google SEO and screen readers for accessibility will thank you.

Create, or edit, your Blog, Event or Activity

When you create a new blog, event or activity you will see a small icon of a photo. Selecting this icon will allow you to drop in a photo before or after text sections.

Uploading the image

Once you add your photo description, select INSERT to add the photo to your content body.

You can add as many images as you like above or below text.

Image can only be full width and DOES NOT allow for text to wrap around or have smaller images.
