Managing Reviews in Rezfusion Cloud & Essential

Instructions on how to review, add and remove reviews on Cloud & Essential sites.

Overview

When a new review is created by a guest or pulled in from your PMS, the review will have a status of Awaiting Moderation. Once you’ve reviewed the comments, update the status to Published for the review to show on the website.

  • Reviews pull in automatically from Escapia, VRM, LiveRez and Streamline.

  • Reviews can be manually added.


Getting Started

Main fields of a Review

  • Reviewer - Guest who submitted the review

  • Review Headline - Headline for the review

  • Vacation Rental Item - Listing the review is about

  • Rating - 1 through 5 stars

  • Source - Where the review came from. PMS, Website, or Local (entered manually in the back end)

  • Review Comments - Comments from the guest

  • Manager Response - This is where to add a response to the review, if desired.

  • Status:

    • Published - Visible to guests on the website

    • Unpublished - Not visible to guests on the website

    • Awaiting Moderation - not visible to guests on the website. This is the status for new guest reviews. Once you’ve reviewed, then change the status to either Published or Unpublished.

  • Featured - When checked, reviews will appear pinned at the top of the reviews display.


Adding Reviews

On the left, under Property Manager, Click on Add Reviews.

  1. Enter the below information. Required Fields are followed by a red asterisk.

  • Review Headline* - Enter a headline for the review

  • Vacation Rental Item* - Select the listing the review is about

  • Rating* - Choose between 1 and 5 stars

  • Arrival Date* - Enter the guest arrival date

  • Guest Name* - Enter the first name of the guest

The remainder of the fields are optional. Most are self-explanatory and we’ve provided more information on these:

  • Review Comments - Add the guests comments here. If desired, you may change the Text Format below the text box.

  • Manager Response - This is where to add a response to the review, if desired.

  • Status:

    • Published - Visible to guests on the website

    • Unpublished - Not visible to guests on the website

    • Awaiting Moderation - not visible to guests on the website. This is the status for new guest reviews. Once you’ve reviewed, then change the status to either Published or Unpublished.

  • Featured - When checked, reviews will appear pinned at the top of the reviews display.

2. Click Save Review at the bottom of page


Reviews Moderation

On the left, under Property Manager, click on Reviews Moderation.

You can use the various filters at the top to find the review(s) that you would like to view.

 

Click Edit in the table row to review all the information within a single review.


Bulk Operations

Bulk Operations allows you to make changes to multiple reviews at one time.

1. Select the reviews you’d like to take action on.

2. Choose the Operation

  • Delete Reviews - will delete the selected reviews

  • Feature Reviews - will check the feature box on the selected reviews

  • Moderate Reviews - allows you to change the status of the selected reviews (bulk change status to Published, Unpublished, or Awaiting Moderation)

  • Un-Feature Reviews - will un-check the feature box on the selected reviews

3. Click Execute
