How are amenities displayed on the OTA listing? If an amenity is not available in the API, will it appear as a null value to guests, or will it be omitted entirely?

Any amenity not supported will be omitted. We support most.

Unfiltered - Pre-booking via clicking 'contact host' or chat and post-booking full details revealed.

Are hosts provided with guest information and allowed to market to them directly post-reservation

How is guest communication handled on the OTA?

Via chat or you can get the customers info and reach out directly.

Hosts are paid upon traveler entry to the property.

Is the host emailed/notified by the OTA when anything happens pertaining to: reservation or listing changes?

Reservations

How are reservations accepted?

Bookings must be accepted on VacayMyWay. However, we highly recommend turning on Auto approve bookings so that you do not have to take manual action.

How do reservation cancellations work?

Cancellations can be initiated the traveler/guest via their vacay portal. Hosts can only cancel a reservation in the VMW host portal, canceling in their PMS will NOT cancel the reservation.

How do reservation modifications work?

Changing check-in or check-out - Editing a booking's check-in or check-out date cannot be done in your PMS. These changes are also not possible within VacayMyWay but will be added in the future.

Changing price - Editing the booking price of an existing booking in your PMS will not be reflected in VacayMyWay. Changing an existing reservation is not possible within VacayMyWay but modifying an existing reservation will be added in the future. Does the OTA provide credit card details?

How does this impact reservations and Host payout? How are discounts enabled?

We offer traveler incentives and promotions but those will not effect the Host Payout. The host will be paid out for the full amount of their booking

What is the process for disputing a reservation or chargebacks?

Does the OTA support PMS provided payment schedules?

Paid up front and via 'Afterpay' via Stripe. No splits.
