Streamline Fee Logic Setup

Boost offers a second reservation logic option for Boost-Streamline reservations called “Fee Logic.” Fee Logic creates reservations using base amounts for room rate and fees, then adds any overage from a markup set in Boost into that fee.

  1. Go to ‘Tools’ from the home page of Streamline

  2. Click on ‘Home’, OR the first option under ‘Property Definitions'

  3. Click on ‘Tax&Fees’

     

  4. Click ‘Add New Tax or Fee’

  5. Select ‘Fee’

  6. Name the Fees - Example: “Boost Markup Fee”

  7. Enter which entity this fee (the Boost mark-up amounts) should be paid to:

  8. This fee should be a flat dollar amount fee, and it needs to be set for $0

  9. Select yes to proceed

  10. Click through and confirm various options

  13. This fee should NOT be set to bundle into room rent.

  1. Should this fee be applied to all reservation types? No > apply only to the Boost Reservation types you’d like this to apply to. This is most often Boost (PDWTA) However if they have unique reservation types enabled for Boost you will need to select each res type you want this to apply to. ex:

  2. Once the fee has been created the user can select ‘Show Tax/Fee ID’ and get the fee of the ID.

    Or you can hover over the pencil Icon next to the fee name and the record number is the fee id

  3. Share this Fee ID with Boost Team so they can add the ID to the Boost engine.
