Activating and Configuring HSAPI for Escapia Users

Client Instruction to Activate Bluetent in HSAPI

Once you have decided to share your property data with Bluetent, you will need to contact the HomeAway Support team and ask them to Activate the correct Bluetent channel for HSAPI. It's important to request the correct channel for the HomeAway Support team.

  • In order to distribute properties to Airbnb and/or Booking.com, request V12 to activate the connection for Rezfusion Boost
  • In order to distribute properties to your Bluetent-managed website, request V12 to activate the connection for Bluetent as a Web Company. 

Follow the instructions below to submit a ticket:

  • Product: Escapia
  • Ticket Subject: Enabling HSAPI for distribution
  • Ticket Body: Can you please make the HSAPI channel specific to distribution for Rezfusion Boost and/or Bluetent as a Web company available? We will need all api methods enabled.

HomeAway Support should communicate back to you once they have completed this step. You can double check to see it if the correct Bluetent channel is activated by looking to see if that Bluetent channel appears in the Partner Picker list. Once it appears please follow the next steps.

Enabling Bluetent as an HSAPI & Granting all Method Access Permissions

We'll also want you to enable the HSAPI features to allow for booking cancellation and modification from Airbnb.

  1. Open the Partner Picker in your software as follows: (path: Admin > Setup > HomeAway Software Partner)

  2.  Locate "Rezfusion Boost by Bluetent" OR "Bluetent as a Web Company" and click Manage Partner
  3. When the “Edit Permissions” page loads, there are two boxes to check: "Enable Partner" & the select all method access permissions highlighted in the image below
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save.
