Display Settings Training Video and Article
Overview
Display Settings allows you to control how your customers view your listings on your vacation rentals page utilizing the unit and map view options. This training video and article will show you how to configure these settings on the back of your site.
How to access your display settings:
- To begin, login to your website by scrolling to the bottom of your website and click 'Login'.
- Click on 'Dashboard' which is located in the top left of the home page of your website.
- Once you are in the 'Dashboard', click on 'Property Search' which is located under the 'Settings' section.
How to access your display settings:
- After clicking into 'Property Search', scroll down until you see Search Layout Default
As you can see, you have four different option on how you can display your properties on your Vacation Rentals page:
Unit/Map Split View
Unit View
Unit View Only
(The different between Unit View and Unit View only is that Unit View Only does not give you the option to switch between Split and Map View which is pointed out in the top right of the page)
Map View Only
Setting your Map Preferred Zoom Level:
- If you scroll down further in the Property Search section, you will see three fields that allow you to set the Map Preferred Zoom Level, Select the Default Map Style and finally choose the Map Maximum Zoom Level.
Map Preferred Zoom Level: The lower the number you set, the further out the map will zoom away from your vacation rentals.
Selecting the default map style:
- Here you have the option to choose between a standard street map or a satellite map without the streets.
Standard Street Map Satellite Map
The number you set here will prevent the map from zooming in further than the level set.
