Home Page: Overview

The Homepage section allows you to edit and customize the homepage of your website.

To begin, login to your website by scrolling to the bottom of your website and click 'Login'.
Click on 'Dashboard' which is located in the top left of the home page of your website.
Once you are in the ‘Dashboard’, click on ‘Home Page' which is located under the 'Content Manager’ section in your Dashboard.

When you first click on Home Page, it will give you the option to include a Home Page Headline, where you can welcome your customers to your website.
It will also ask where you would like to include the Home Page search widget, either on or below the slide show image of your choosing.

The first option under this tab is to choose whether you want to use simple content or custom variation content. Simple content provides basic text entry fields whereas custom variation content will allow you to use Page Builder elements to construct a custom layout. For now, we will focus on the simple content, please refer to the page builder training video if you choose to utilize the custom variation content. Under simple content, you can add text into the content section where we typically see a short blurb about your company and vacation rentals.

2. You can then add a homepage sub headline as well as more text that will filter under your sub headline.

Following the content configurations tab is the Featured Properties section. Here we can include a block title and a call to action for customers to check out the featured properties on your website.
You can also include a call to action text which is text displayed for the link to browse all properties.

The SEO tab is next. You do not need to focus on this section, however if you do choose to purchase SEO, our SEO team will utilize this section.

The Home Page Video section is where you can upload a MP4 video, WEBM video or a poster image that would replace any picture you had in the Slideshow tab and would populate the upper half of your homepage.

The Homepage slide show which is located under the content manager section too allows you to upload an image that will appear on the upper half of your homepage. You can include a title, side link and slide caption. You can publish multiple images, doing so will result in your slides rotating on your homepage between the pictures you have chosen.
