The table below provides a general overview of some of the most important aspects of each OTA/Channel available on the Boost Partner Network.

Payment Processing & Host Payout

  • HVMB is the merchant of record (MOR)

  • Hosts are paid via direct deposit. HVMB collect payment once the cancellation policy ends for a reservation. HVMB remits payment weekly on Sundays & Tuesdays.

  • Hopper is the MOR for the original reservation charge. Hosts still need to have their own payment processor to process the virtual credit card.

  • Host are paid via a Virtual Credit Card (VCC). The VCC can be charged as soon as the reservation is made and up to 30 days after reservation checkout.

By default Hopper will use the cancellation policy set in the Boost Partner Network - Channel Settings.

However, hosts can override this policy in the Hopper Host Portal.

Reservation Cancellations

Hosts must contact HVMB to initiate cancellations.
Cancellations placed in the PM Software will NOT be synced to HVMB.

Reservation Modifications

Modifying a reservation is NOT possible on HVMB.

Supported Fees: 
Flat Per-Stay, Flat Per-Day/Night, % Per-Stay, Optional Extra Guest Fees, Optional/Opt-in Pet Fee (up to 1 pet)

Refundable security deposits, Fees based on LOS groupings, Date-based fees

Tax Responsibility

HVMB will collect taxes from the guest and forward that payment to the PMC. Hosts are responsible for tax consolidation.

*HVMB - Auto Select policy: If the Auto-select option is chosen in the Services tab, the Boost Partner Network considers the Cancellation Policy set on the property level and checks it against the above four Cancellation Policy options available for the Homes & Villas by Marriott International. Once all the possibilities are analyzed, the best matching Cancellation Policy is automatically selected.
