OTA Listing Requirements
Provides a list of content rules for each OTA. This is a guideline and we do our best to keep it updated. Sometimes OTA’s may change the Listing Requirements without our knowledge.
Airbnb
Property Name:
No more than 4 CAPITAL letter characters in the listing name
Maximum of 50 Characters
No symbols or emojis
Content Fields (House Rules, Summary, Descriptions, Notes) cannot contain:
Words longer than 5 characters in ALL CAPS
More than 3 ALL-CAPS words in a row
Denied words - Examples: Google, Gmail, facebook, Amazon, other OTA’s names
Repetitive characters EX: !!!, ~~, Beachhhhh
Phone numbers or a series of numbers (this includes Tax ID or Permit numbers)
Contact Information (company name, email addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, physical addresses)
Cancellation Policies (Airbnb gives Hosts five policy options to select from)
Payment schedule and/or terms
Photos:
7 images of at least 1024 pixels x 683 pixels.
Images cannot have water marks, PMC names, phone numbers, logo’s
Amenities: At least 5 amenities attributed in your PMS per property
Tax Permit ID: For property managers in areas that require a permit ID to be present on listings, check in with your implementation specialist about ensuring these have been added.
Booking.com
Property Name
Has a length between 3 and 255 characters.
Does not contain a phone number (or no more than five consecutive numbers).
Only contains letters (any language), numbers, or the following symbols: ! # & ` ' " - ,
Is not all in uppercase.
Photos: At least 1 image is required to sync. 300 pixels by 300 pixels minimum size.
Availability: At least 1 day of availability in the next 365 days is required to sync.
Tax Permit ID: For property managers in areas that require a permit ID to be present on listings, check in with your implementation specialist about ensuring these have been added.
HomeToGo
Property title without numbers and non-Latin characters
Photos: a minimum of 10 photos in size 1024x768 (max 50)
Amenities: a minimum of 10
Description with a minimum of 700 characters
Guests, bedrooms and bathrooms needs to be specified (at least one bathroom and at least one room)
Prices and availability for the next 18 months
Properties in instant booking only
Capacity of at least one adult
Property size (ft² or m²)
Vrbo
Headline must include at least 20 characters (max of 80)
Photos: Each listing provide have at least 6 photos - minimum size requirement of 1024x683.
Number of bedrooms and bathrooms needs to be specified for each listing
Maximum Occupancy must be filled out in Boost
Description must include at least 400 characters (max of 10,000)
Accurate address and latitude/longitude are required for each property
Registration number must be specified for listings in jurisdictions that require it
Terms & Conditions - Text only - no hyper links
Photos: a minimum of 8 photos
